In Germany, the number of companies and private households utilizing solar power generation has significantly increased. According to the announcement of the Federal Statistical Office of Germany on June 20th, 2.6 million photovoltaic systems were installed on roofs and private properties in March this year, with a total rated power of about 70600 MW. The number of photovoltaic systems has increased by 16% within one year, and the installed capacity has increased by 21%.

In 2021, photovoltaic power generation accounted for 9% of the total power generation.
