Today, the 6th Southeast Asia Sustainable Development Exhibition (SX2025) grandly opened in Bangkok, Thailand. As a member of the Beijing E-Town “Green Technology Delegation,” MULTIFIT Solar Technology Co., Ltd. made a prominent debut in the “China Pavilion,” unveiling its core products: the Solar Automatic Intelligent Cleaning Robot (MR-G3) and its systematic cleaning, maintenance, and operation solution for photovoltaic (PV) power plants. This launch presents an innovative “Chinese solution” to the challenge of “efficiency degradation” faced by PV power stations in Southeast Asia.
The newly launched MR-G3, the latest model in MULTIFIT Solar’s MR series of solar automatic intelligent cleaning robots, offers enhanced compatibility with various types and specifications of solar arrays. It can clean two adjacent arrays with different tilt angles via a bridging mechanism. A differential mechanism between the upper and lower sets of walking wheels corrects deviations, preventing jams and ensuring smooth passage. The extra-wide walking wheels accommodate dimensional tolerances and compatibility for solar panels within a 10cm range. Even when two arrays are not aligned, the bridging function enables simultaneous cleaning. Equipped with an IoT 4G communication module, the robot supports remote network control, customized grouping, and scheduled cleaning tasks. Its rain sensor leverages rainfall for cleaning during wet weather. Automatic edge detection technology prevents the robot from sliding off and avoids potential hazards, and it features an automatic return function upon low battery.
Southeast Asia’s abundant sunlight makes it an ideal region for PV development. However, local climate characteristics such as high temperatures, dust, and the rainy season lead to the accumulation of dust and grime on PV panel surfaces, potentially causing up to 30% loss in power generation efficiency. Addressing this industry pain point, MULTIFIT Solar’s exhibited cleaning robot requires no external power source, operating on solar energy itself, and achieves water-free or minimal-water cleaning. This significantly boosts power generation efficiency while effectively reducing operational costs and risks associated with manual labor. Furthermore, targeting the growing residential and small-scale commercial PV market, the company’s portable and efficient household PV panel cleaning brush also attracted significant interest from distributed energy developers on-site.
MULTIFIT Solar’s Head of Overseas Business stated at the opening: “We are bringing not just products, but a philosophy of ‘proactive and preventive’ operation and maintenance. From intelligent robots for large-scale ground-mounted power plants to convenient tools for household rooftops, and further to professional systematic maintenance services, we are committed to ensuring every ray of sunlight is captured with maximum efficiency. We greatly look forward to using this exhibition as a platform to discuss with Southeast Asian partners how intelligent O&M can maximize the lifecycle value of PV projects.”
On the first day of the exhibition, MULTIFIT Solar’s booth emerged as a focal point within the China Pavilion, thanks to the practicality and innovativeness of its solutions, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation.
