BANGKOK – The sixth Sustainable Energy & Technology Expo (SX 2025) opened grandly today in Bangkok, Thailand. As part of the Beijing E-Town “Green Technology Delegation,” Multifit Solar premiered its core products in the “China Pavilion” – the fully automatic intelligent solar cleaning robot (MR-G3) and systematic PV plant cleaning, maintenance, and operation solutions – presenting an innovative “Chinese solution” to the challenge of “efficiency degradation” faced by PV plants in Southeast Asia.
The newly launched MR-G3 model, the latest in Multifit Solar’s series of fully automatic intelligent solar cleaning robots, offers enhanced compatibility with a wider variety of solar array types and specifications. It can clean two arrays with different ground tilt angles via a bridging mechanism. A differential between the upper and lower walking wheels corrects deviations, preventing jams and ensuring smooth passage. The extra-wide walking wheels accommodate tolerances and compatibility for solar panel size variations within a 10cm range. Even arrays that are not aligned can be cleaned using the bridge function. Equipped with a 4G IoT communication module, it enables remote network control, customized grouping, and scheduled cleaning routines. An integrated rain sensor allows the robot to utilize rainwater for cleaning during wet weather. Automatic edge-sensing technology prevents slipping and avoids potential hazards, and the unit features an automatic low-battery return function.
Southeast Asia’s abundant sunlight makes it ideal for PV development. However, climatic features like high temperatures, dust, and rainy seasons lead to dust and contaminant buildup on PV panels, potentially causing up to 30% power generation loss. Tackling this industry pain point directly, Multifit Solar’s exhibited cleaning robots require no external power, operating on solar energy to achieve water-free or minimal-water cleaning. This significantly boosts generation efficiency while effectively reducing O&M costs and manual work risks. Simultaneously, targeting the growing residential and small commercial PV market, the company’s portable and efficient household PV panel cleaning brush also attracted keen interest from numerous distributed energy developers on-site.
The company’s Head of Overseas Markets stated at the opening: “We are bringing not just products, but a ‘proactive and preventative’ operational philosophy. From intelligent robots for large-scale ground-mounted power plants to convenient tools for residential rooftops, and further to professional systematic maintenance services, we are committed to ensuring every ray of sunlight is captured efficiently. We eagerly look forward to discussing with Southeast Asian partners how to maximize the full lifecycle value of PV projects through intelligent O&M.”
On the first exhibition day, Multifit Solar’s booth became a hotspot within the “China Pavilion” due to its practical and innovative solutions, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation.
